The mission of Board of Trade & Technical Education Islamabad (BTTE) is to Develop a flexible and responsive Technical Vocational Training System to prepare a competent and trained workforce capable to respond to the fast-changing needs of the 21st century and contribute in the Economic Development of Pakistan. The Board of Trade & Technical Education Islamabad (BTTE) from its inception has been very successful in catering to the needs of Human Capital Development by arranging need-based training programs and organizing workshops/seminars on the promotion of Technical Vocational Education & Training, Entrepreneurship and Employment Generation, Women Training and Empowerment, Enterprise Development and other related issues. Besides, the Trade Testing Professional Board is trying to establish technical and vocational institutes in backward area of country to produce skilled labour because 35 percent labourers, working oversees belong to Pakistan, most of them unskilled.


The importance of technical education is constantly growing and knowledge-based industries are now occupying the centre-stage in its development. Technical education as a major driver of economic development is well established, and this role will increase with changes in technologies. Pakistan’s greatest asset is its human resource on which progress and prosperity of the country largely depends. Human Resource Development plays vital role in enhancing productivity and have key role for sustainable economic growth of the country.

Board of Trade & Technical Education Islamabad (BTTE) is the process of measuring the competency and technical knowledge of a person aspiring to be a skilled worker, through practical performance and written expression. The quality of training should be sensitive with the emergent needs of job market. Board of Trade & Technical Education Islamabad (BTTE) has improved, expanded and diversified technical and vocational training. The situation today is certainly far better than one prevailing in earlier period of our history.

Board of Trade & Technical Education Islamabad (BTTE) operates on Public-Private Partnership. It is affiliated with Foreign universities & colleges and is engaged in Distance Learning Education. Board of Trade & Technical Education Islamabad (BTTE) is engaged to identify, develop and arrange Vocational, Technical / Professional and IT Training Programs. Training Programs are flexible, demand driven and cost effective with maximum participation from the Employers. Board of Trade & Technical Education Islamabad (BTTE) also offers tailor-made courses, according to the customers needs. It conducts Training Needs Assessment Surveys and schedules its training programs accordingly.

  • The institute will only train and induct the disciplines / training which can be managed either by the Institute itself or with the collaboration with other Institutions.
  • Institute is responsible to keep all the educational and professional record of the students.
  • Institute is responsible to provided to BTTE Islamabad whenever it is needed otherwise the diploma will be considered as cancelled.
  • The institute is responsible to train the students according to recognized syllabus of required Course.
  • At the completion of Course, the institute will conduct Examinations and evaluate the students properly.
  • The institute will be responsible to arrange Trade Test for those students who are willing to get diploma / Certificate on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) System/ Experience based and Distance Learning / Assignment based.
  • The BTTE is not responsible for any attestation of the testimonials from any Agency in Pakistan. furthermore it is the responsibility to inform the students prior to his/ her induction that BTTE Diploma / Certificate is competency / skilled based and does not have any equivalency to any other Board / University / Agency in Pakistan.
  • No Advertisement will be allowed until unless a proper permission of BTTE Islamabad is obtained.
  • The BTTE Islamabad Rights to Cancel , Terminate or suspend the affiliation without assigning any reason or notice.
